The game between closely ranked teams ended with top-ranked MexicanAstros ' (6-0) home victory over second-ranked Colombian Paisas (3-3) in Guadalajara 125-72 on Tuesday. Astros dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Paisas ' 40. They outrebounded Paisas 40-23 including a 28-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Astros looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Paisas ' players. The winners were led by Jamaican Tyran De Lattibeaudiere (195-1991, college: Lamar, agency: Network Sports International) who scored that evening 27 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and American point guard Trey Burke (183-1992, college: Michigan) supported him with 20 points and 4 assists. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by American guard Brandon Tabb (193-1995, college: BCU) did not help to save the game for Paisas . His fellow American import guard Mike Miles Jr (188-2002, college: TCU) added 15 points for the guests. Four Astros and five Paisas players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Astros have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record, which they share with Nacional. Defending Colombian champion Paisas keep the second place with three games lost.
